The VH region is also called nanoantibody or single domain antibody (sdAb). The independent alpaca VH region has the complete antigen-binding capacity. Compared with artificially modified single-chain Fv (scFv), it is easy to aggregate. Alpaca antibodies have stable properties, such as maintaining activity at 60 ℃ and resisting extreme pH environments.
