Bacteriophages (bacteriophages) are widely distributed in the biosphere and play a key role in regulating the microbial ecology of the soil, ocean, and humans. Although the role of DNA bacteriophages is well described, little is known about the biology of RNA bacteriophages. NCBI currently preserves more than 1,900 phage genomes, but only reported 6 dsRNA phage and 12 ssRNA phage genome sequences. Six dsRNA bacteriophages were isolated from legume samples or lakes with Pseudomonas syringae as the host. The double-stranded RNA virus that infects the bacterial host belongs to the family of cystoviridae. Phage phi6 is one of the best-characterized dsRNA viruses and has structural and functional similarities with other well-studied eukaryotic dsRNA viruses (such as LA, rotavirus, bluetongue virus, and reovirus). Although phage production faces many difficulties, in order to successfully produce phage, Creative Biolabs uses a series of production methods tailored specifically to your goals. Depending on the characteristics of the project, these different methods can be applied in parallel or individually.
Creative Biolabs’ scientists can use a variety of production strategies to help researchers gain insight into the dsRNA phage production. Our team helps you achieve greater success by providing high-quality services. Our services are listed as follows, but are not limited to:
