Design and Production of Engineering Synthetic Phages

Creative Biolabs is the world's leading CRO company, mainly focusing on the production of phages, and provides phage display services, and synthetic services of artificial phage genomes. Our mission is to innovatively manufacture the highest quality biomolecules and develop economic processes within an agreed time frame. The synthesis of artificial phage genomes is divided into four steps: design, construction, rescue, and testing. Design: Remove some non-essential genes, add genetic elements, or design the entire phage genome modularly, and split the designed genome sequence into Oligo sequences of about 100 nt that are conducive to synthesis; Construction: After synthesizing Oligo sequences, use a PCR machine to pass Anneal and Extend, assemble Oligo fragments into 1kb double strands, and assemble complete phage genomes by yeast recombination platform, PCR or Gibson; rescue: rescue into active phage particles using electroporation, cell-free expression systems or L-cell synthesis of artificial phage genomes; Test: Preliminary characterization of artificial phages by one-step growth and inhibition curves.
