Basically, the following two strategies are used to construct display antibody libraries: these libraries are constructed using random combinations of light chain variable region (VL) and heavy chain variable region (VH) encoding genes; the other method is by amplification of one or more individual variable gene sequences to design human VL and VH sequences.
